Wild Berries!

Today we discovered this berry bush (?) in our local park. Think it is boysenberry. This little path is off the beaten path to the park. No one is ever here and it's muddy, overgrown - just perfect! We had fun finding a bucket full of berries. They are actually very good.

So Ava to get distracted while I try to take a pic. She saw some wildflowers under the bridge.
Cooper loved to play that this berry was blood. He is such a boy.

The kids tried to make a line to pass down the berries. Cooper picked them off the high branches, passed them to Ava, Charlie, Bobbi then put them in the bucket. This only lasted a little bit. They realized it was too big of a production line.
Ava sticking them in her water bottle.

On our walk Charlie found this big wheel bike on the side of the street (for garbage). He thought he struck gold. I told him he could ride it to the park, then we would return it back to it's corner. That didn't work. He flew past the corner as fast as his legs could turn the peddles. The bike tips over real easy. He's been hurt twice. Still loves it! It was one of those days where the sun was hiding behind the clouds. It acted like it was going to rain but never did (not until tonight, and boy, did it pour!). Wonderful day with family.
