Raising Arrows

This weekend I read an article in the TOS magazine from Fall 2008. It was written by Amy Roberts and the article was The "Me Time" Myth. It was a great article on satisfying your Me Time with Christ first, not having to do all this "other stuff" to fill your soul. He is the only thing that will fill you completely. At the end of the article it said that she just lost her baby at 7 mo and gave her blog address. She said through all of this it was a realization that time with our children is much too short to spend seeking self. Ironically, today is the day, 1 year ago, her baby passed away. She has posted a beautiful memorial of her precious baby. Just another reminder that our children are not really ours, they are our Heavely Father's. We need to trust His Hand. I put her "button" on the side bar of this blog if you want to read more or see her video. Raising Arrows - It is an encouragement to love deeper, hug harder. Thank you Jesus for today, to spend more time with the ones we love......

our last christmas, little did we know!! we miss you-you are always in our thoughts. We sold his house, it was as if we had to say goodbye again. Nothing but fond memories. Movie night, hide and go seek, fishing, the beach, pool table, weight room, ice cream, bagels, peach diet iced tea, laughing...simply you. Miss you more than you will ever know.
