LOVE this duck's webbed feet. Reminds me of my feet. BIG. :)
LOVE this guy or girl. I love that it has this very large spoon bill and then such a lovely soft pink on it's feathers. It is a strange combo but I dig it.
Charlie's FAVORITE! The stingrays that you get to touch. He was wet from head to toe trying to get his hand as far down into the tank of water. He managed to pet quite a few! Mind you, there is another tank of stingrays that says DO NOT TOUCH. He can't read, so you heard me shout across the aquarium, "Charlie, don't touch those!" "Danger, Charlie!"
And a pic of the touchable stingray tank. O.K., we all got wet. Great day at the aquarium. This is our September Field Trip Month. I tell the kids to hold on to their seat belts because we will be crazy field trip people for the month. Bobbi Marie will wish she never said (a few years back) that we never do field trips. My plan to overly do field trips in one month works like a charm. We do so many in one month, that for the rest of the year they don't even notice we haven't gone on any others. To be honest, after September, the holiday season picks up and we are busy just celebrating fall,
Halloween, birthdays, Thanksgiving etc. So, if you are out and about you might spot us (and our crazy field trip friends) walking around with clipboards. We do try and make school out of all this craziness. Fun.
