This tree is just in full beauty this time of year. The original owner planted two trees that merged into one (late 50's - they also planted this HUGE avacodo tree in the backyard, but that is another post). Most Royal Poinettia trees are not this far north. They are very tropical. Yes, there are some around but I have to say not as pretty as this one! We LOVE the bright orange petals of these flowers that flood our driveway.
