Stained Glass

The finished product. The nimbus clouds are out. No sun to be found but they still look pretty good.
Vegetable oil on a cotton ball, rub the back of your paper. Let dry overnight.

Take a black crayon and design your masterpiece. Cooper and Charlie drew a "design", Ava did a cross and Bobbi drew a cathedral.

Make the black outline as dark as you can and then color away with vivid colors. We are slowly working our way through the Middle Ages. The stained glass windows in cathedrals and churches showed scenes from the Bible. Most of the people could not read so this helped the story come alive! I wasn't sure about this project when I was reading the directions, but the kids loved doing it.
