First of all, Finance Park is a wonderful opportunity for older kids to learn everything about consumer math. Miranda and Bobbi have been going to this Monday class since January and today was the "big day". They were given a career, family situations, etc. Then they had to go around the park and budget and purchase and pay bills and everything else. The kids and I went for lunch. We were a little early so we walked around the place. They have businesses set up everywhere and we ended up in the Ruth Eckerd Hall area for performers. We had to be quiet, because everyone was working, but we still had our own fun. Afterwards we showed the older girls our pics and they wanted in on the action. The whole idea was to look as close as possible to the performers, facial expressions and body language. So, here's to our fun day and to hard work from Miranda and Bobbi. To anyone who is interested, next year the teacher is doing Enterprise Village (4-6th graders) and Finance Park (high 8th through high school). Cooper and Bobbi are doing it again next year. Let me know!

our last christmas, little did we know!! we miss you-you are always in our thoughts. We sold his house, it was as if we had to say goodbye again. Nothing but fond memories. Movie night, hide and go seek, fishing, the beach, pool table, weight room, ice cream, bagels, peach diet iced tea, laughing...simply you. Miss you more than you will ever know. It feels as if it was just yesterday, thank God you are "free". "With your final heartbeat, kiss the world goodbye, go in peace and laugh on Glory's side.
