The Palm family came for a picnic one day. The kids loved the swimming hole.
First day swim, getting used to the chilliness of the water! It didn't take much.

One of our favorite things, the little aluminum boates. Two of them made for good boat wars.
This was our next stop after Alabama. We went to Timberlake campground in North Carolina. We did not know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. We rented a trailer on this campsite. The trailer was super duper small but we were never in it! This place had creeks, fishing, swimming, etc. Lots to do outside. The people were saying how hot it was but not what we are used to. We truly only went inside the "cabin" (trailer) to sleep. The Palm family was vacationing about 30 minutes from us. So, we were able to see them a couple of days. One day in their neck of the woods and another day in our neck of the woods. Very fun.
