Ava's Birthday Run

Ava's first 5K - This is what she wanted to do on her birthday! She came in 3rd place for her age division. Great Job!

And introducing Ava's new Lotso. We wonder what he does to the other toys when we are not around him. Ava still hasn't let him sleep near her Allie (an alligator stuffed animal she has had since she was 2). Ava's real birthday was yesterday and she wanted to do the beach run. She normally does the kid 1 mile run but this time (and we agreed because it was her birthday) she wanted to do the official 3.1 miles. Mind you, she has never run 3 miles. She did a great job and I asked her if she wanted to do it again and she said......"No." :) Cute girl. She was just so happy that her friends and Nan and Poppa came to be with her. It was a great night. Happy Day to my sweet girl. Eight has arrived with a big bang!!!!!!

our last christmas, little did we know!! we miss you-you are always in our thoughts. We sold his house, it was as if we had to say goodbye again. Nothing but fond memories. Movie night, hide and go seek, fishing, the beach, pool table, weight room, ice cream, bagels, peach diet iced tea, laughing...simply you. Miss you more than you will ever know. It feels as if it was just yesterday, thank God you are "free". "With your final heartbeat, kiss the world goodbye, go in peace and laugh on Glory's side. And fly to Jesus, fly to Jesus, fly to Jesus and LIVE....." .
